How to Create and Publish an App with Koalo: Your Checklist

Hey there! Welcome to Koalo! We're here to help you create and publish your app with ease. Follow this simple checklist to get started and watch your app come to life on the App Store and Play Store.

Step 1: Get Started with Your App

  1. Subscribe to Koalo: Sign up for a Subscription plan that fits your needs.

  2. Complete The App Information form.

Step 2: Set Up Developer Accounts

  1. Create an Apple Developer Account: Follow this guide to create an Apple Developer Account.

  2. Create a Google Play Developer Account: Follow this guide to create a Google Play Developer Account.

Step 3: Design your app and provide assets

  1. Logo: Design and upload your app logo.

  2. Background Theme: Choose and customize the background theme to match your brand.

  3. Complete the Design your app form

Step 4: Give Koalo Access to Developer Accounts

  1. Apple Developer Account: Provide us access to your Apple Developer account. Follow the guide to invite us as an Apple admin. Follow this guide to give access to your Apple Developer Account.

  2. Google Play Developer Account: Provide us access to your Google Play Developer account. We’ll guide you through inviting us as an Google admin. Follow this guide to give access to your Google Play Developer Account.

Step 5: We Submit Your App

  • App Store (iOS):

  • We handle the submission via App Store Connect.

  • If you want to beta test, we’ll help set up TestFlight.

  • Google Play Store (Android):

  • We handle the submission via Google Play Console.

Step 6: We Handle Review and Approval

  1. App Review: Apple and Google review your app for compliance with their guidelines.

  2. Feedback: If there are any issues, we address them and resubmit your app. Check out the non-technical guidelines for Apple and Google to understand what might be required.

  3. Approval: Once approved, your app will go live on the App Store and Play Store.

Step 7: Launch and Promote Your App

  1. Announce Your App: Share the news with your community via social media, email, and other channels.

  2. Monitor Feedback: Keep an eye on user reviews and feedback to make continuous improvements.

  3. Updates: We regularly update your app to fix bugs, add new features, and improve performance.
