Once you’ve submitted your app for review, you can view its status in the My Apps section of your Google Play Console.
App Submission Statuses and Descriptions
When you select your app in Play Console, you can see its latest publishing status under your app's name and package name. Here are the common statuses you might encounter:
Common App Submission Statuses
Draft: Your app is being worked on but has not been submitted for review yet.
Pending Publication: Your app has been submitted and is waiting to be published.
In Review: Your app is currently being reviewed by Google.
Approved: Your app has passed the review and will be published on the Play Store.
Rejected: Your app did not meet the guidelines and has been rejected. You will need to address the issues and resubmit.
Removed: Your app has been removed from the Play Store.
Suspended: Your app has violated Google Play policies and has been suspended.
Detailed Status Descriptions
Draft
This status means your app is being worked on but has not been submitted for review yet. You can continue editing and preparing your app for submission.
Pending Publication
Your app has been submitted and is waiting to be published. No further action is required from you at this stage.
In Review
Your app is currently being reviewed by Google. During this time, you may not make changes to the app until the review is complete.
Approved
Your app has passed the review process and will be published on the Play Store. Congratulations! Your app is now available for download.
Rejected
Your app did not meet Google's guidelines and has been rejected. You will receive a notification with details about the issues that need to be addressed. Once you have made the necessary changes, you can resubmit your app for review.
Removed
Your app has been removed from the Play Store. This could be due to policy violations or other issues. You will need to address these issues before your app can be republished.
Suspended
Your app has violated Google Play policies and has been suspended. You will receive details about the violation and steps to resolve the issue.
Extended Review Times
For certain developer accounts, Google takes more time to thoroughly review your app to better protect users. In exceptional cases, this may result in review times of up to seven days or longer.
